Educational Trip

Taman Rama school provides Educational field trip. This study tour is aimed to give an opportunity for students to visit and learn some historical places and to see the local culture. This educational field trip is held each year for all grades and sections. The school provides at least three buses to bring the students to the location, the teachers are on guard to look for the students safety. Students will have fun yet in the same times still be able to learn. Here are some lists of the field trip location:

SPORTS DAY

SPORTS DAY is annually held in connection with our other celebrations for Indonesia's Independence Day. Students, teachers and staff from each division of our school participate in these inter-house competitions that help to promote a feeling of unity among us all, the four groups are: kartini, Tolstoy, Lincoln and Tagore, students from different classes are put into one of these groups to compete with the other groups. 

Red represents Tolstoy

Blue represents Tagore

Green represents Lincoln

Yellow represents Kartini

The Taman Rama Kindergarten

Taman Rama kindergarten is committed to the development of high standards of international education. Here in Taman Rama children are encouraged to learn English language from an early age. The programmes are: mathematics, problem solving, thinking skills, physical development, alphabet learning, art, craft, music, dancing skills, etc. 

All major religious days are celebrated and observed e.g national holidays, Mother's Day, Father's Day,teachers day, childrens' day and much more. 

Taman Rama school provides 'playgrounds' for the children to play after lunch or such. Our school also provides helpers to help guide the children's when help is needed. 

The education phases in the kindergarten are as follows:

Toddler: age 2 until 3 years 

Nursery: age 3 until 4 years

        K1: age 4 until 5 years 

        K2: age 5 until 6 years 

SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas)

Sekolah Menengah Atas SMA Taman Rama, dibawah naungan Yayasan Taman Mahatma Gandhi merupakan sekolah nasional Plus pertama di Bali yang menerapkan kurikulum Nasional dengan Plus kurikulum. Dibuka pada tahun 1999 dengan menerapkan kurikulun 1994. kemudian beralih ke kurikulum 2004 yakni KBK, dan kini menerapkan kurikulum 2008, KTSP untuk jenjang kelas X dan XI, sedangkan kelasXII masih ber- KBK.

SMP (Sekolah Menengah Pertama)

Sekolah Menengah Pertama SMP Taman Rama Denpasar adalah sekolah tingkat lanjutan pertama yang berstatus ”National Plus”. SMP Taman Rama Denpasar menawarkan kelas dengan program yang menggunakan kurikulum nasional dimana proses belajar mengajar dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan dua bahasa (Billingual) yaitu Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris dengan penerapan ESL (English as Second Language).

SD ( Sekolah Dasar)

Taman Rama SD Regular offers a National – Plus primary school programme for children aged 6 – 12 years. Taman Rama acknowledges the importance of the English language in a global economy and therefore offers a National, local content subjects, with an additional focus of developing students' English language skills.

CAMBRIDGE IGCSE

CAMBRIDGE IGCSE The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is one of the most recognised qualifications around the world. IGCSE courses are renowned for developing vital educational skills, including recall of knowledge, oral skills, problem solving, initiative, team work and investigative skills.

Cambridge Secondary 1

The Secondary 1 Programme (Years 7 & 8) provides a natural progression for children from primary education, and builds on Cambridge Primary to develop each child’s knowledge and skills in English, Mathematics and Science. Curriculum frameworks and assessment objectives are set by CIE and progression tests are taken, as part of the semester examinations, at the end of semester two.

CAMBRIDGE PRIMARY (CP)

Cambridge programmes are designed to develop learners who are confident, responsible, innovative and engaged. Cambridge Primary, typically for 6-11 year olds, is a curriculum framework to develop English, Mathematics, and Science skills, knowledge and understanding in younger learners. At Taman Rama School the core subjects of English Mathematics and Science are complemented by studies in social issues, history and geography through out SOSE subject. Our programme also includes studies in physical education, art, religion, the performing arts, languages and ICT. Our language programme offers a solid base in Bahasa Indonesia complemented by a Languages Other Than English (LOTE) selection to choose from, currently French, Mandarin, Japanese and Balinese.

CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM

The Cambridge International Fellowship Centre has two sections; Cambridge Primary Grades 1 to 6 and The Cambridge Senior Grades 7 through to 12. We follow the curriculum offered by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), a branch of Cambridge Assessment, a not-for profit organisation and part of the world-renowned University of Cambridge. The Taman Rama School offers the complete Cambridge International Examination Programme; Cambridge Primary (CP) : Grades 1 – 6 Cambridge Secondary 1 : 1 Grades 7 – 8 Cambridge IGCSE : Grades 9 -10 Cambridge AS & A Level :Grades 11-12
